Even as recently as 5 years ago, most people would look at a Prepper as being a rare bird. However, after the experience of going through Covid most people became more open to the idea that being better prepared for an extraordinary event was not such a bad idea after all. If you add the various climate emergencies that have occurred in the past few years which have also caused shortages and a loss of electrical power in areas like Texas, Florida and California, more people have started to evaluate what steps can be taken to prepare to better handle those unexpected curve balls life can throw your way. For Millionaires and Billionaires, the choices are easy. They just buy a floor in former bomb shelter that is equipped to survive any apocalypse event or for the really wealthy ones, a private underground shelter is an option or a hideaway in a far-off land like New Zealand is another popular option.
