La Fortuna-Lake Arenal Suggested 7 Day-6 Night Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival and Relaxation Day

Check into your hotel or Airbnb accommodations. Treat yourself to an afternoon Spa treatment and/or massage or just take a walk and get to know all the great shops, art galleries, coffee shops and restaurants in the downtown La Fortuna area near La Fortuna Central Park. Dinner at one of the many varied and delicious restaurants available in the area. Morning hike at Arenal Volcano National Park. Take a guided hike through the park to explore the rainforest trails and learn about the flora and fauna of the area. You'll have the opportunity to see the iconic Arenal Volcano up close and learn about its history and geology. Afternoon at one of the many natural hot springs available. La Fortuna is famous for the many hot springs which are heated by the Arenal Volcano and offer a relaxing and therapeutic experience while surrounded by lush tropical scenery. Evening dinner with a view of the magnificent Arenal Volcano.
