VITAMIN RICH SMOOTHIE - 1 cup of fresh spinach leaves 2 celery stalks 4 red apples

the juice of 2 lemons 2 cm of fresh ginger 4 cups of water 2 cups of coconut water

Wash the spinach and celery well, peel the apples, and squeeze the lemons.

Put the solid ingredients in the blender and add half the liquids, then blend. Then proceed to add the remainder of the liquids and blend some more. Serve with a couple of ice cubes.

If you want it spicier you can add a bit more ginger.

These ingredients can be easily obtained at the weekly Farmer ´ s Markets (Feria del Agricultor) throughout Costa Rica:
