A re you Costa Rican? Yes, we are 100% Ticos (Costa Rican). Are both of you from this beautiful area of the South Pa- cific or from another part of Costa Rica? I (Claribel) was born in Santa Rosa de Upala in the prov- ince of Alajuela and Rodrigo is a native of this area and was born in Ciudad Cortés. If you spoke with a foreigner who does not know our country, what would you say is the best that Costa Rica offers? Without a doubt the natural beauties so varied that pro- vide us with a quality of life that is envied by many coun- tries. Now tell us how this very special restaurant was born? Rodrigo had always wanted to have a restaurant busi- ness. Also, I am a celiac and it has always been very difficult to eat anywhere, or to go on a trip, all because “normal” food made me sick, and this also motivated us to create a restaurant with this concept. About 2 years ago we started with the project and after several months, in November 2019 Retro was opened. I understand that Retro offers a very varied menu and that everything is 100% gluten free! Also that not only does it offer this ample and healthy menu, but also offers an environment with various attractions. Can you tell us about this? That’s right, Retro is a 100% gluten free restaurant. We care about offering delicious products that delights the palate and above all we take care of the health of our clients. In addition to this, we offer a popular food menu for those who want to indulge and “sin”: hamburgers, wings, nachos and more. As for our facilities, I can tell you that they are very comfortable, elegant and offer a quiet environment where we have three different areas for you to choose the one that you like the most: we have the main room, the cafeteria area and the VIP lounge with air conditioning. We also have 300 Mb Wi-Fi for our clients to come and have executive or work meetings.
